Mrs. Moore blogs......

Firstly, apologies for my lack of blogging lately. In case you hadn't heard, I've been busy getting married to the dashing Adam!

The wedding went well, there were a few minor hitches with some misty weather as a backdrop but when I look back I wouldn't change a thing! We are settling in to married life quite nicely, looking forward to our weeks honeymoon in Paris next week.

Whilst in Paris, I am dragging Adam to 'Vanves,' a relatively famous flea market full of old sewing machines, fabrics and all sorts. http://www.bonjourparis.com/story/vanves-flea-market/
I hope to source alot of my materials for my 'enjoy the little things' stall from here, and if it proves fabulous I may make visiting the market a regular thing. That wouldn't be so bad would it, 'Ahhh I have used all my supplies, I must go back to Paris to re - stock!?' In my dreams....

I have also been pondering on themes for my stall, as I want to make lots of different things - I thought a bit of a theme would help in bringing it all together. At the moment, I am thinking:

- old keys, I have a bit of an obssession with them at the moment, ones that look like the 'Secret Garden' key in particular..

- hearts, for obvious reasons considering the past few months..

- buttons, I have tins and tins of them in my spare room that are just waiting to be turned in to something lovely..

-and maybe houses, for example, little cottage designs - ones like I hope to own myself one day!

I'll put some photo's of my designs and purchases from Paris when I return. I've got to start making soon, can't wait!

Love Sarah x

P.S Next Friday, the 27th July, one of my wedding photo's taken by my good friend Naomi Sampson of http://www.pureepiphanyapparel.com/ fame, will be featured on http://www.anyotherwoman.com/. This is my new favourite website, where you are encouraged to write articles about all kinds of woman related goodness, with the view to them hopefully being published on their blog.

My photo and little wedding write up, has been chosen to be featured - which is really lovely. Let me know what you think!
